August 10, 2018, 6–8 pm

Join us on a free and casual guided tour of gardens along the periphery of the Walk that don’t get as many visitors as those in popular areas of condensed gardens. If you went on Garden Walk Buffalo this year, you may have missed these great gardens.

Campus Wheelworks and the Campus Cycling Collective are collaborating with Gardens Buffalo Niagara on three bike tours—each on the second Fridays of June, July and August.

We'll visit a few select gardens on the outer rim of the Garden Walk Buffalo footprint. The tour will be a total of 8-10 moderately-paced miles on bike paths and bike lanes when possible.

Jim Charlier from Gardens Buffalo Niagara will be on this ride. It's a good opportunity to find out more about Gardens Buffalo Niagara, and other regional garden tours and events.

Participation is free, no reservations are required, but you are required to have:

  • A helmet
  • A spare tire tube (Campus Wheelworks sells tire tubes if you need to purchase)
  • Water for drinking

You will have to sign a waiver. If you'd like to print it out, sign it and bring it along Friday to save some time, you can find it here.

Reservations are not required, but a quick email to marketing@GardensBuffaloNiagara.com to let us know if you're coming would help in the planning.

Just meet at Campus Wheelworks, 744 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo, about 5:45 p.m. on Friday, August 10.

Gardens we'll visit include:

  • Prospect Avenue Petersen Garden
  • Prospect Avenue Matos and Hernandez Gardens
  • Busti Avenue Casa Palma
  • Prospect Avenue Lickers & Arce Garden
  • Herkimer Street Winship Garden
  • Manchester Place Patti Garden
  • Windsor Simmons Garden
  • Linwood Avenue Favorito Garden
