Learn how to create fun and vibrant art work with invasive species!

At this workshop, artist Tatiana will use invasive species from the Buffalo Olmsted Park System to demonstrate how you can create ink! This event is a partnership with The Tool Library and Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy.

These invasive species are typical plants that you may see in your own backyard. Kristie Munson of the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy will also share about ongoing invasive species management efforts throughout the park system, and how you can make a difference in the parks and in your own green spaces. Darren Cotton of The Tool Library will share about the tools available in their inventory to empower you in taking the next step in invasive species management!

Your ticket includes:

  1. Demonstration by Tatiana on how to make your own ink from invasive species

  2. An Instructional Zine made by Tatiana

  3. Leave with your own artwork, bottle of your ink and more knowledge on invasive species

  4. Light refreshments

All materials provided. Makers of all skill levels welcomed. Limited to only 20 people! Just bring yourself and come in clothes that you do not mind getting ink on!
