America’s largest garden tour! More than 300 creative and gracious gardeners are looking forward to seeing you again – or for the first time.

East Side Garden Walk is more than a garden tour! During the Walk, garden lovers experience Buffalo's East Side treasures. Sharing nature stories creates community connections among gardeners, neighbors and visitors.
Donation: Tour is free and open to the public Maps are available on the days of the Garden Walk at Hamlin Park, at the corner of South Grove and Prospect Street.
Stroll through exceptional gardens in the quaint and historic Akron and Newstead, NY. Visit the Rock Garden at Akron Falls Park, the gardens at the 19th-century Rich-Twinn Octagon House and make your way through resident gardens in the Village and beyond.

One of the summer’s most unique events takes advantage of Buffalo Niagara’s ever-growing and enthusiastic gardening community. Visit more than 50 vendors of nature-themed items or works that can be displayed in a garden setting – in many mediums: sculpture, metalwork, paintings, woodwork, architectural remnants, found art, ceramics, planters – anything that looks good in a garden!
Join our friends at Pelion Outdoor Classroom's garden as we address some of the invasive species that are growing in the space. We'll review removal techniques and best management practices for non-native plant species that impact our local habitats.

There are many things that you can do at home to help reduce pollution in our waterways and lakes. Join us for a FREE virtual seminar about water pollution and how green infrastructure like rain barrels can help make a difference.

Want to learn about lilac bushes? Interested in caring for an ornamental garden? This volunteer opportunity is for you! We'll be tending to Lilac Park Community Garden and taking care of these colorful flowers. No experience is needed and tools will be provided!

A Celebration of the 30th Garden Walk Buffalo in The Forman Mansion features gardens by Ellen Biddle Shipman, an American landscape architect known for her formal gardens and lush planting style. She dictated the style of the time and strongly influenced landscape design as a member of the first generation to break into the largely male occupation.
Shipman also designed gardens locally for Frank Lloyd Wright’s Graycliff, Mina Miller Edison (wife Thomas Edison) in Chautauqua, and the Knox Farm in East Aurora.
