Gardens Buffalo Niagara Launches Reimagined Programming for Community Safety, Sharing Gardens in New Ways

Buffalo, NY – The Gardens Buffalo Niagara (GBN) board is excited to announce a new online experience showcasing the region's gardens.  Buffalo Garden Views: Sharing in July, a month-long celebration,  will feature  a variety of activities suited for these difficult times.

GBN’s programs have helped build Buffalo’s reputation as an urban gardening capital. Each week of July will be packed with events that visitors from the Buffalo Niagara region–and around the world–can experience from home on social media, and where appropriate, in person. Here are just a few of the ideas in development.

  • Front Yard Garden Strolls

  • Gardener Interviews

  • Backyard Video Tours

  • Gardeners’ Photos and Videos

  • Live Garden Experts

  • Garden Stories

  • Games & Giveaways

  • New shopping experiences

GBN is committed to connecting our community through garden sharing and has worked hard to develop a summer filled with activities that are appropriate for social distancing, keeping our community safe. Buffalo Garden Views will include daily opportunities to safely enjoy the region’s gardens throughout July.

Gardens Buffalo Niagara’s mission is to create more vibrant and beautiful communities by sharing our gardens with events like Garden Walk Buffalo, America’s largest garden tour; the East Side Garden Walk; the 16 other regional garden tours; Tours of Open Gardens on Thursdays and Fridays in July; and the Buffalo Style Garden Art Sale.  To learn more about the summer 2020 season, please visit GardensBuffaloNiagara.com.
